Cell plate

Accessory for reinsertion method, standard device for queen rearing

Using the cell plate, it is possible to rear even faster. At first, as with the standard device, the insert cells have to be inserted from behind into the 112 insert cells. Then the queen can be admitted into the comb. After the queen has laid her eggs, she is released. This is the same procedure as with the standard device.

Here, however, reinsertion into the queen cells is replaced by the cell plate. This saves you the reinsertion of individual insert cells.

The blocking screen and comb mesh are taken over from the breeding comb. Instead of the comb mesh, the cell plate is plugged in.

Now the breeding comb has to be hung horizontally in the hive. The protection cells (Art. 040) can be plugged directly onto the cell plate.
